It is a suite of tools, algorithms and processing pipelines that draws on Computer Vision, Image Understanding, Pattern Recognition, and Structure from Motion algorithms and modeling techniques to provide higher video compression without loss in visual quality.
EuclidVision goes beyond the block processing methodology of H.264 and HEVC, by identifying and cataloging features and objects in video. Its processing algorithms prioritize features and objects according to several criteria, including bandwidth utilization, redundancy (repetition within the video) and similarity to certain types of features, e.g. faces.
